Although I had fun with this task - I also found it somewhat difficult to find a lot of great dresses in this price range. My excuse to spending a little more on dresses is you will AT LEAST get 2 wears out of it (if the dress is black, endless) so automatically half the price of the dress. Makes me feel slightly better about the spending.
For dresses under $200 - the first websites I would check are; Bec & Bridge Maurie & Eve and Bardot. You'd be amazed at some of the beauties they bring out, if you don't already check this site.
For those of you that haven't yet dipped your toes into online shopping (Must say I was shocked when a friend told me this on Monday) I have 2 hot tips for you.
1. Always check the refund/exchange policy. Nothing more annoying when there is only 7 day exchange policy and they have sold out of the only item you want. Refunds are always the best, but this of course depends on the size of the store.
2. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE DESCRIPTION. I have been caught so many times. I'm too busy 'Ooooh aaahhhh' over the item, I forget to read what the material actually is (dumb dumb). This happened to me this week. I had been looking online at a dress for $130 tossing up whether to buy it or not. I stumbled across it in a store on Thursday and realised it was cotton. $130 for a cotton dress??? No, thank you.
OK, I have 3....If the website only has one photo, google the name of the item and try and find it on other website that has more pictures. Don't want a low back dress, when you have to wear a bra!
The first dress is a Maurie and Eve dress. I can't actually find it online - but I know this store does Cupid and Beau.

The next couple of dresses are from The Iconic. This website has so much variaty and usually always has some sort of sale or 20% off. If you live in Sydney it's even better. Delivery in 3-4 hours!!! Awesome for that last minute outfit you need.
